Hold Please!

I had this wacky idea for hold music. After Kris searched for something royalty-free and decent,  started to wonder…we have a number of friends who are musicians of some sort. If each of them was willing to submit a (safe for work — yeah GG, I’m looking at you) track, we could do a little (tasteful) voiceover every few seconds suggesting “Buy this track TRACK NAME on iTunes” and “You are hearing ARTIST NAME”.

A little advertising for your good friends, better hold music for us. I’m sure it can’t be as simple as that, or someone would be doing it already. What do you think, musicians? Good idea? Bad one? Legally insane? Interested in trying it?

    Some good songs for Hold:

    “Falling for You”- Colbie Caillet
    Anything by Norah Jones
    “Call Me” by Blondie

And since I was specifically told to behave:
“Bad Girlfriend” by Theory of a Deadman

Trust me, it’s completely appropriate. Hee Hee!!

  2. Cool idea! You would definitely have a captive audience, anyway 🙂

    Great idea!
If in the meantime you guys need something royalty-free, I’d be happy to whip up something for you, no charge.
